We're passionate about delivering top-quality products and exceptional customer service. As a growing industry leader in Airconditioning, we're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Manager professional to join our dynamic team.

 

About the Role

As Business Development Manager, you’ll play an important part of our sales operations in Queensland by acquiring and expanding relationships with mechanical contractors, specifiers, consultants and builders.

In the role you will deliver spec-influence, win targeted projects and strengthen Polyaire’s presence in the commercial HVAC space.  You will also be aligned with strategic priorities like AirTouch adoption and project pipeline development.

 

Key responsibilities:


1. Revenue Growth & New Business Development

2. Specification & Project Pipeline

  • Influence specifications on 5+ commercial projects annually via consultants and engineers.

3. Relationship Management

  • Build high-trust relationships across contractors, consultants, and builders.
  • Become a go-to resource for HVAC product guidance and project support.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with Estimating, Ops, and Supply Chain to ensure project delivery excellence.

5. Market Intelligence & Feedback

  • Submit monthly insights on competitor pricing, product movements, and upcoming projects.

 

What will you bring to the role?

  • 5+ years experience in B2B HVAC or commercial construction sales.
  • Strong understanding od duct systems, grilles. Diffusers, controls (experience with Air Touch desirable).
  • Experience using Hubspot or similar CRM systems.
  • Self driven, persuasive, sales focussed to grow Polyaire business.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Customer focused and good at building interpersonal relationships.
  • Strong communication both verbal and written.
  • Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Work/Outlook).
  • Ability to understand Commercial Products and strong business acumen.
