Polyaire has one of the most extensive ranges of products used in the air conditioning industry, offering 1,000's of different items under the Polyaire, Zonemaster and AC Unit Brands.

An opportunity now exists for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Sydney Team.


The Role

  • Leverage our existing customer base to grow sales in the B2B Sector
  • Work with Existing and New builders to support and convert them to AirTouch strengthening relationships and other customers and some retail sales.
  • Drive sales and specifications with key stakeholders in the Building & Construction Industry
  • Work with the State Sales Manager to develop sales plans and pricing strategies.
  • Build strong customer and supplier relationships whilst providing technical advice and support
  • Play an active and important role managing large customers including presentations and coordinating quotes
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations of progress, measures and forecasts for Senior Management in addition to effective use of CRM system.
  • Act as brand ambassador amongst your portfolio of clients and generate ideas and opportunities for further engagement with the product and brand beyond the sale
  • Achieve sales and behavioural KPI's and ultimately exceed sales targets.

Ideal Candidates

  • Proactive approach consisting of a balance in sales and relationship building focus
  • Minimum three years of previous experience in a Sales / BDM role
  • Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Experience in forecasting and managing a pipeline
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication, listening and presentation skills
  • Be a team player, yet a self-starter that can work autonomously as well
