About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, this is a leadership position where you will lead a creative and innovative sales team in an agile working environment. You will ensure that clear goals are set and communicate to the State Sales team around the sales strategies and the business core priorities. You will drive a high performing team with inclusive culture through continuous mentoring, coaching, and providing constructive feedback to the team.
It is a significant role where you will be given the full autonomy to develop and to create a truly unique customer experience in growing the business in Victoria. This involves building strong collaboration with external suppliers, business associates, key industry players to ensure business alignment and identify opportunities as well as areas of improvement to the business.
As the State Sales Manager, you will create and implement the B2B business strategy to achieve strong sales revenue, profitability, and market shares in the industry. You will work closely with the State Operations team to ensure effective and efficient business processes in maximising the achievement of the region sales and KPI results.
Your core focuses
Taking full ownership of the sales lifecycle.
Actively seeking new business opportunity through establishing solid networking and client base.
Consistently evaluate the market condition and customers' needs and present innovative recommendations to the business products and services.
Successfully negotiates and close deals, attends to customers’ satisfactions and complaints.
Fully accountable for the planning and delivering of the sales forecasts and achievement.
Who you are
You are a passionate sales leader, collaborative and engaging with high emotional intelligence quotient, yet you are assertive to get job done, and hold people accountable to high standards of customer service and you know how to strike the balance.
You have a minimum of 5 years of trade sales and wholesale management experience in the HVAC or FMCG industry or equivalent and able to demonstrates exceptional achievements in your CV.
You build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and always willing to listen and consider other perspectives.
You are a people manager with proven track records in leading your sales team, and demonstrates willingness to collaborate to seek new, creative solutions to problems and emerging opportunities.
You have a solid understanding of the external market and industry dynamics that make our products and services a valuable investment for customers.
