About the role We now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accounts Receivable Team Lead to mentor, support and drive the team to succeed. Reporting to National Credit Manager, this is your chance to make a real impact and foster a collaborative and growth-focused team environment. We are looking for someone with proven senior level AR experience, who thrives on working in a dynamic and high-volume environment. A can-do attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with your team, key customers and stakeholders will see you successful in this role. What does my day to day look like? - Lead and motivate a team of accounts receivable specialists, ensuring efficiency processing of invoices and payments.
- Managing receipts and allocations of daily incoming payments
- Preparing daily banking reconciliations
- High Level Customer Account Reconciliations
- Maintaining daily transactional reports
- Maintaining an Accounts Receivable Aged Trial Balance
- High Volume telephone calls regarding overdue accounts
- Strong focus on Collections
- Investigate and resolve customer queries and disputes.
- Other duties as directed by the National Credit Manager
What you will bring to the role: - 5 + years’ experience in a full-function AR role
- Proven experience in a leadership role, successfully leading an Accounts Receivable or Credit team within a fast-paced environment (2+ years)
- High level reconciliation skills
- Ability to meet KPI’s and Collection Targets
- Strong communications skills, both verbal and written
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
